Resolve your breastfeeding struggles and get your feeding questions answered by an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Possums certified practitioner.

Danielle Sharon, Psy.D., IBCLC offers a wide range of expert breastfeeding classes including a comprehensive prenatal breastfeeding class, which is wonderful to take with your partner or anyone who will be supporting you. Topics include positioning and latch, making sure your baby is getting enough, sore nipples, growth spurts, cluster feeding, increasing milk supply, oversupply, pumping, breastfeeding and going back to work or school, weaning, introduction of solids, breastfeeding and medications and substances, nutrition and food sensitivities, and breastfeeding myths.

It is my hope and passion to give you all of the information to set you up for breastfeeding success!  I am confident that with the right tools and support, you can overcome almost any breastfeeding obstacle.  

Learning to breastfeed is like learning a new dance with a new partner.  It takes time, patience, and practice.  The right support and encouragement can bolster you to help you gain the confidence and skills you need to be successful to the point where it feels easy and natural.

Danielle Sharon, Psy.D., IBCLC

Dr. Sharon has been a Clinical Psychologist for over 20 years.  In 2014, she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Additionally, Dr. Sharon proudly became the only U.S. practitioner accredited in the NDC (Neuroprotective Developmental Care) approach to infant and toddler sleep. She consults with families domestically and abroad.  Dr. Sharon teaches a comprehensive prenatal breastfeeding class, works privately with moms and families, and has run a post natal support group for new moms and babies.  She is passionate about and dedicated to the thriving of moms, babies, toddlers, and families.  Recognizing that no two families are the same, Dr. Sharon becomes fully engaged with each family to meet their individualized goals.
